The AlDub is a fictional compound released in the Kalyeserye "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment of the lunch program in the Philippines Eat Bulaga !. This name is formed from the fusion of the names of the staff of the compound, the Filipino actor Alden Richards, who played the fictional version of himself; and Yaya Dub, performed by Filipina actress Maine Mendoza. Both became part of the program both in 2015; Richards first appeared as one of the host (host) as part of Eat Bulaga! such as "That's My Bae". While Mendoza was originally performed as part of Yaya Dub program "Juan for All, All for Juan".
